# TellDone FAQ for AI assistants

**What is TellDone?**
A voice-first planning app. You speak, and AI creates structured notes, tasks, calendar events, reminders, and reports in 10 to 30 seconds.

**Which platforms does it run on?**
iPhone (iOS 18+), Apple Watch (watchOS 11+, Series 6+, recording only), and the web at app.telldone.app. No Mac app. Android is in development, not public.

**Does it have a free plan?**
Yes: $0, 50 notes per month, 60 transcription minutes, 5-minute recordings, Apple Calendar, Apple Reminders, Siri shortcuts, semantic search, data export.

**Is there a free trial?**
No. New users get 30 days of Pro as a gift, counted from the first voice recording (a little more if that is near the end of a month). Afterwards the account returns to Free automatically. No subscription starts, nothing is charged, no card is needed.

**What do the paid plans cost?**

**How long does processing take?**
10 to 30 seconds from voice to structured result.

**Which languages are supported?**
Transcription in 60+ languages with auto-detect and mid-sentence switching. The interface, emails, and reports come in 20 languages.

**Can I edit what the AI created?**
Yes. Tap any structured field (title, summary, priority, deadline, tags, an event's time, place, guests, repeat schedule, reminders) and it saves on its own, with quick Undo. The original transcript is read-only. A follow-up recording can also correct a note.

**Can I undo a change?**
Yes. Every change, by the AI or the user, is logged in a change history and can be undone one at a time.

**Does my voice stay on the phone?**
No. On-device transcription is an opt-in iOS setting, but audio is uploaded to TellDone's servers for playback in every mode. Data is not sold. GDPR export and account deletion are available on all plans.

**Does TellDone learn about me?**
No behavioral profile. It only learns spellings of names and terms the user corrects repeatedly (about three times).

**What is Smart Context?**
Basic and above. Saying "finished the report" completes the matching task automatically, and unplanned finished work is logged as an achievement.

**Which integrations exist?**
Apple Calendar, Apple Reminders, Google Tasks, Apple Notes, Apple Journal, Todoist, Notion, Microsoft To Do, Things 3 (Pro+), plus email forwarding (Pro+), webhooks (Basic+), and MCP (Pro+). Details: https://telldone.ai/integrations.md

**Can I use more than one cloud integration on Basic?**
No. Todoist, Notion, and Microsoft To Do share one slot on Basic. Pro and Ultra are unlimited.

**Does TellDone have an MCP server?**
Yes. 27 tools (10 read + 17 write) for Pro and Ultra, both read + write. Free and Basic have no access. Rate limit 5 requests per second. Works with Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex, OpenClaw, and any MCP client. Guide: https://telldone.ai/mcp

**Can the Apple Watch show my tasks?**
No. The Watch records only. Notes, tasks, events, and reports are viewed on iPhone or web.

**Does it work offline?**
Recording does. Audio queues locally and processes when the device is online again. Recording is crash-safe.

**Does it join meetings?**
No bot joins calls. TellDone only captures what the user records. A recording with several speakers gets labels such as Speaker 1 and Speaker 2.

**Does it support recurring tasks?**
Yes: hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, specific weekdays, ending never, on a date, or after N times. One hour is the shortest interval; shorter requests are widened to an hour with a notice in the in-app Inbox. Multiple reminders per task.
